FAQs

Are tables and chairs included?

Yes, chairs are included with each rental based on guest count along with a variety of rectangular and round tables.

 

Are table linens included?

No, but we work with preferred vendors to provide you a discounted price.

 

​​Is there heating and air conditioning in the pole barn?

There is heating, but no air conditioning. Standing industrial fans are available.

 

How many guests does the property hold?

Our occupancy limit is 150 guests.

 

​​Is the facility handicap accessible?

The pole barn is handicap accessible as there are no steps to get inside. The restroom in the pole barn is undergoing remodeling and we expect it to be ADA compliant. The house has steps to enter and get to the second floor.

 

What time must events end?

On Fridays and Saturdays, events must end by 11 pm. 

On Sundays, events must end by 9 pm, unless if it’s a holiday weekend.

 

Is event insurance required?

Yes - A Certificate of Liability Insurance with an endorsement attached is required, naming us as an additional insured in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence. All documentation must be submitted and approved at prior to the event. You can search for insurance at www.theeventhelper.com, www.wedsafe.com or www.privateeventinsurance.com 

 

Is there a dressing room or bridal/groom suites available for the bridal party?

Yes - there are 3 bedrooms in the house that can be used during your event. In the future, we plan to add a bridal/groom suite within the pole barn.


Is there a food prep area?

There is no food prep area in the pole barn. Professional caterers are welcome to use the kitchen in the house for food staging and prep. (No cooking). 

 

​​Is there a sound system?

No, we do not have a sound system.

 

​​Does the pole barn have a restroom?

Yes - it currently has one restroom. Depending on your guest count, either one or two more luxury port-a-potties will be included in your event. We’re planning to add another restroom to the pole barn in the near future.

 

​​Do you have a vendor policy?

Alcohol: Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender.

Bartenders available at partyhosthelper.com. 

Food: Caterers must be licensed and insured.

 

Do you require us to have a wedding planner?

No - but keep in mind that we don’t provide wedding planning services outside of providing the venue and amenities agreed to.  

 

What’s your music policy?

Sound is limited to 100 db. Bands/live music are welcome. Music is not allowed outdoors after 8 p.m.

 

Is any staff included?

At least one team member will be on-site to greet vendors and answer any questions. Security will be present if there's 50+ guests or alcohol is served.

 

How is parking/public transportation?

There is limited parking on-site. To preserve the beauty of the property, we are still determining if a gravel parking lot will be added in the future. Depending on your guest count, shuttle service may be needed from a nearby parking lot which is 5 minutes away from our property. Uber/Lyft is not readily available in the area.
